Adamu Adamu, the minister of education, has encouraged the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to end its six-month strike and open up to negotiation.
Adamu requests that ASUU end its strike and embrace dialogue
The minister stated that the strike should be called off in the interest of students while speaking at the Abuja policy conference for 2022 about admissions to tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
Adamu asserts that the only way out of the deadlock is to embrace communication
I implore the tertiary institution leadership to join the Federal Government in its urgent efforts to bring back industrial peace in tertiary institutions in Nigeria, he added.
