Things To Note When Registering For Post UTME
Your Name Must Be Correctly Spelt

Post-UTME isn’t like JAMB where you can edit the mistake after you have registered successfully. Post-UTME isn’t like JAMB where you can edit the mistake after you have registered successfully.
Use The Same Name In Your Birth Certificate, WAEC, JAMB
I’ve seen occasions when an aspirant uses “Giwa Fatia Olamilekan” in the WAEC registration, for example, and later uses “Olamilekan Fatia Giwa” in the JAMB registration, for example.
It would be a very big issue for you after being admitted either during your UTME post registration or during the screening after admission.
Input Your O’Level Result Correctly During Registration
This shouldn’t be a new thing for aspirants, though it may be deliberate or a mistake, either side is a big offence. A number of newly admitted students in some universities who had been caught in the act were sent home after admission. I know that you don’t want to be in the same position, so do the right thing.
Visit A Cyber Cafe For Registration Of Post UTME
Often this is a big problem for aspirants who register online for the UTME post as you will be asked to pay any registration fee. I’ll advise you to do this at a cyber cafe where you know it’s safe, don’t take the risk of paying with your smartphone online.
In the past, I have received complaints from aspirants about not getting an RRR pin after the money was deducted from your bank account, causing you to pay twice. I know that’s not what you want, do you?
Understand The University’s Post-UTME Format
A number of universities and polytechnics are following the screening form of document review, rather than examination. Universities such as UNIUYO, among other Iconic University. Most other universities (UNILAG, UI etc.) tend to screen candidates for post-UTME aspirants to write the screening exam.
To plan accordingly, you must be precautious enough to grasp the post-UTME format.
