DELSU Diploma Admission Form: Delta State University (DELSU) Centre for Continuing Education Programmes (CCEP) is now selling application forms for admission into its Regular Diploma programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session. DELSU Diploma Available Courses & Requirements
LATEST UPDATE:
This is to inform staff, student and the general public, particularly prospective applicants for admission into the 2021/2022 Diploma programmes that the underlisted programme has been withdrawn from the list of programmes advertised for admission for the session as earlier advertised in the University Bulletin No. 55 Monday, August 26, 2021.
Gender Programme Options
- Gender Security, Safety Development and Risk Management.
- Gender and Children (Pry and Sec.) Security Studies, Development & Education.
In this direction, prospective applicants for the Gender programme are required to make a choice of other options available in the New Diploma Programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session.
FACULTY OF THE SOCIAL SCIENCES
(Duration of study is four (4) Semesters Or Intensive Eight (8) weeks professional contact.
1) Accounting.
Requirement: SSCE or its equivalent (TC II, WASC, GCE O/Level, NECO, NABTEB, RSA awarded by WAEC) with a minimum of five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other subjects from Business Methods, Principle of Account, Literature in English, Commerce, History Statistics, Geography, Government Agric Science/Biology obtained at not more than two sittings.
2) Business Administration
Requirement: A minimum of Five (5) credit passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) NECO or GCE O/Level including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two Social science subjects obtained at not more than two sittings.
3) Social Work
Requirement: A minimum of Five (5) credit passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) NECO or GCE O/Level, TCII or their equivalent including English Language, Mathematics and two social science subjects obtained at not more than two sittings.
4) Criminology and Security Studies.
Requirement: A minimum of Five (5) credit passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) NECO or GCE O/Level, TCII or their equivalent including English Language Mathematics and two social science subject obtained at not more than two sittings.
5) Public Administration
Requirement: Five (5) O/Level credit passes in SSCE, NECO or GCE O/L, NABTEB, TCII or their equivalent including English Language, Mathematics, Government & two social science subjects.
6) Mass Communication
Requirement: Five (5) O/Level credit passes in SSCE, NECO or GCE O/L including English Language, Mathematics and Literature in English and two social science subjects.
7) Marketing
Requirement: A minimum of Five (5) O/Level credit passes in Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), NECO or GCE O/Level, TC II or their equivalent including English Language, Mathematics and Economics and any other two (2) social science subjects obtained at not more than two sittings
8) SECURITY PROGRAMMES OPTIONS
i) Security Intelligence and Strategic Studies
Requirement: Five (5) O/Level Credits which should include English and a pass in Mathematics
ii) Environmental Crime Detection, Prevention, Monitoring & Control using Satellite Data & GIS Analysis
Requirement: Five (5) O/Level credits which should include mathematics, English Physics or Geography.
iii) Financial Security, Data Analysis, Corruption and Allied Studies
Requirement: Five (5) O/Level credits which should include English Language, Mathematics or Accounting.
9) PEACE PROGRAMME OPTIONS
i) Peace Building strategic and Development Studies
Requirement: Five (5) O/Level credits which should include English and a pass in Mathematics.
10) CONFLICT RESOLUTION PROGRAMME OPTIONS
i) Conflict Studies/Resolution Strategies and Risk Management
ii) NGOs’ Role, Humanitarian and Refugee Studies and Disaster Management
Requirement: Five (5) O/Level credits with a pass in Mathematics.
11) DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME OPTIONS
i) Water Resources Security, Planning, Demand and Supply Management.
ii) Environmental Planning, Plans, Building Strategies, Compaction and Cementation.
Requirement: Five (5) O/Level credits including Mathematics, Geology or Geography with a pass in English.
iii) Media Resources and Communication Studies, practice, Innovation and Security Strategic studies.
Requirement: Five (5) O/Level credits including English, Literature and a pass in Mathematics.
Programmes Nos. 8 to 11 are specially designed for job seekers, including School Certificate holders, Graduates, Staff of Oil and Servicing Companies, Banks, etc. Also for specialized professionals like Army, Navy, Air Force, DSS, Customs, Immigration NPF, EFCC, NDLEA, FRSC, Civil Defense Corps, Fire Services, Prisons, Government Establishments and Ministries, Institutions like Primary and Post Primary Schools, Colleges of Education, Polytechnics, Universities, NGOs, etc.
How To Apply For DELSU Diploma Admission Form
Candidates are required to visit https://portal.delsu.edu.ng/ to generate a virtual pin of N15,000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) only payable at any of: Ecobank, Unity Bank, Zenith Bank or UBA banks.
PROCEDURE TO GENERATE VIRTUAL PIN
i) Visit https://portal.delsu.edu.ng/
ii) Click online registration
iii) Click Start
(iv) Click Diploma Programme
(v) Click Start
(vi) Submit the form and generate pin
(vii) Print out the pin generated
(viii) Visit the specified bank for payment.
(viii) Candidates should with the payment pin (valid for six (6) hours only) access and complete the Delta State University, Abraka, 2021/2022 Diploma Form online at https://portal.delsu.edu.ng/ with their recent coloured passport sized photograph (JPEG format & 20kb in size).
NOTE:
- Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the front page of the website before completing the form.
- Candidates are to submit the print-out evidence of application along With copies of their Results to the Centre for Continuing Education Programmes’ (CCEP) Office, latest Tuesday December 31st 2021.
- Candidates are to log on ONLY the course they chose for the Diploma Programme.
- GSM phones, Parents, Guardians and well wishers will not be allowed to stay around the venue of the examination.
- Any person caught impersonating will be handed over to the Police and the candidate impersonated will automatically be disqualified.
Online application starts: Tuesday, 27th August 2021 and closes at 6.00 pm. Friday, December 27th 2021
